Low Cortisol, Low CoQ10, and Mitochondrial Dysfunction Often Found in Adrenal Fatigue, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, and Myalgic Encephalomyelitis Patients

One of the many challenges for people who suffer from symptoms of chronic fatigue and pain is determining what the root cause or causes are. This is particularly difficult because the symptomology of adrenal fatigue, chronic fatigue syndome (CFS), fibromyalgia … Continue reading

Shilajit’s DBP Claimed to Enhance CoQ10 Function Inside Mitochondria

A growing amount of research into how shilajit works to revitalize energy shows that it helps improve mitochrondrial health by boosting CoQ10 levels, improving energy production, and reducing oxidative damage. Shilajit helps make ubiquinol CoQ10 supplements work much more effectively.

Vitamin-Like PQQ Offers Antioxidant, Neuroprotective, and Mitochondrial Health Benefits

PQQ is a vitamin-like nutrient that may be very important to the functioning of mitochondria in animals and humans. Research is showing that it protects mitochrondria in cells from oxidative damage and may also help increase the number of energy-producing mitochondria. It also appears to help protect neurons from oxidative damage similar to that believed to be involved in various neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases. Yet PQQ is not found in high quantities in most Western foods, unlike typical foods in the Japanese diet which are relatively high in PQQ. Thus there may be good use for PQQ supplements. Unfortunately, they are widely sold as of yet.
